DC buildables

Here they are the DC buildables you may have seen my marvel series 2 buildables.  I talked the the vender who owned the vending machine and he hooked me up with 2 sets one of which I put up on ebay to try and get some of my money back in my pocket. One thing I like about this set is that the faces look really great the marvel set looked kinda off. The features did not quite line up if you get up close. The body however are kind of weakly air brushed. But they still look awsome.

Batman Court of Owls Issue 11 review

Judge Dreed movie

I seen the trailer for the new Judge Dredd movie the other day witch blew me away. I was never a fan of the comic but it looks awesome. My only reference to the character is seeing cover of books and the Stallone movie from my child hood. It looks way more serious from the first attempt at the movie.

The only thing that kind of threw me for a loop in the trailer was the constant scowl; that look like it would start hurting your face. I am glade they are taking comics more seriously I think we will get some great movie experience from them looking forward to it.

A New Start

Back story: I started blogging about a year ago with http://thetoyotaenthusiast.com, and have recently decided to start a new one. Before I got into cars and Toyotas there was much geeky-ness in my life, a lot of it got put on the back burner for years to be picked up and played with at times. Recently I have been checking out a lot of podcasts (http://smodcast.com) due to night jobs and the lack of good radio programs. Any who a lot of them are comic and geek related (it is Kevin Smith). So I have been picking up comics again and dabbling in other geek related things again, and since I have already blog why not blog about this. So here it plans for the blog weekly video comic update and other random geek-dates. We will see how it goes.
